IPC Global Webinar Series Presents
Qlik Application Automation Happy Hour
Learn to use one of the most powerful features in Qlik Sense... ever.
THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29th at 4:00 PM EST
*Please note that we will not be able to send beverages to any attendees who register after Monday September 19th.
Learn to set up your own Qlik Application Automations (and enjoy a beverage) with the experts at IPC Global and Qlik.
In this live webinar, IPC Global's Chief Data Scientist, Igor Alcantara, will lead you through the process of setting up and configuring Automations for the task that we get the most requests to implement: Automatically pushing the latest version of your Apps to Github.
Qlik Application Automation provides an easy-to-use visual layer to what is essentially a compiled script that makes API calls. So now, instead of needing to write API calls through the qlik-cli to push a Qlik app up to Github, you can much more easily create an "Automation" to do it for you. You can set "triggers" so the App pushes automatically based on your criteria, and even configure the Automation to create a new Github repo if one does not exist already.
In this live webinar, we will only be covering a single Automation, but the usefulness of Application Automations goes far beyond this one use case. Our intent is to give you all the information, resources, and confidence you need to go out and start creating your own Automations.
And what better way to boost confidence than with an adult beverage by your side? Simply check your preference in the registration form (non-alcoholic option available) and we will send it to you to enjoy during the webinar.
Join this webinar to learn how to:
Create an Application Automation that pushes Qlik apps to Github
Navigate the Automations user interface and know what all the buttons, panes and menus do.
Create and configure "triggers" that kick off Automations, using data from Apps and other software programs.
Configure, sequence, and troubleshoot the code "blocks" that perform the work of your Automation.
Find resources and training to help you design, create and improve your own Automations.
Who should attend:
Application Automation is only available in the SaaS version of Qlik Sense, but are available to both Analyzer and Professional users. And because they are incredibly powerful and relatively easy to set up , the only things really required to use them are a basic familiarity with Qlik and the desire to solve a problem. So we recommend this webinar to all Qlik Sense SaaS users. Qlik Sense Client-Managed and QlikView users are welcome too- if only to see what they are missing ;)
When: Thursday September 29th at 4:00 PM EST. The webinar will run for about 30 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for questions
Where: Live Online Webinar. Your registration confirmation email will contain a link to join the webinar.
