Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

 

As an Inside Sales Representative based in our Alpharetta, GA office, you will be responsible for producing qualified prospects through a variety of sources including current IPC Global customers, prospective customers, leads from our CRM system and our on-going marketing campaigns. The role is a vital one as you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Compile call lists from current customers, prospective customers from business directories, marketing campaigns and leads from our CRM database, as well as other sources for use in prospecting.

  • Discover customer needs in terms of current business obstacles and identify sales opportunities

  • Research key accounts, identify stakeholders, and grow our prospect data base

  • Coordinate sales efforts with account executives

  • Work closely with marketing team to run campaigns and drive attendance to key events

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Follow-up and maintain contact with prospects that don’t have an immediate need but may become qualified opportunities in the future.

  • Cold calling (200 calls per week) to uncover and qualify sales opportunities

  • Ability to report on results and hit and exceed quarterly goals

 

Requirements
 

  • BS or BA degree

  • Minimum 2 years proven inside sales experience

  • Experience in prospecting and qualifying leads and over- achieving quota

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn as a sales and marketing tool is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to learn and understand product solutions and features

  • Effective sales, marketing, time and project management skills

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, and GoToMeeting.com

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Ability to work in a team environment
